Breeders Assistant (BA) is pedigree and record keeping software for breeders of cats, dogs, horses, birds, rabbits, rats, rare breed sheep/goats/cattle and many other animals.
BA comes in carefully tailored versions - e.g. Breeders Assistant for Cats has specific support for CFA, TICA, GCCF and FIFe/CA breeders. Likewise Breeders Assistant for Dogs has support for AKC, CKC, UKC, FCI and UK Kennel Club breeders.

Breeders Assistant is a product of Tenset Technologies Ltd, a company based in Cambridge, UK (est. 1989). Whilst BA is a British product, it contains many features and customizations specifically for our friends in North America.

It has the best and most configurable pedigrees, including: photos, watermarks (with inbuilt fading), calligraphic text, decorative artwork for borders and corner graphics, sideways-on text, your choice of fields - completely configurable, customize all colors, boxes & fonts etc., HTML pedigrees, image pedigrees (JPEG, PNG, BMP), trial mating pedigrees, litter pedigrees, reverse pedigrees, circular pedigrees, web pedigrees, emailable pedigrees and web pedigree databases (pedigree generator).

Population genetics: we have very fast calculation of Wright's inbreeding coefficient, and other analyses e.g. allele distribution.
It has many powerful genetics tools not generally available in other breeder pedigree programs e.g. prediction of genotypes (coat color genetics, carried traits + diseases via simulation of Mendelian genetics), calculation of inheritance probability of specific genes, modelling of polygenic traits, and various statistical analyses. We provide detailed coverage of both color genetics and disease genetics of most breeds of cat and dog. Dog genetics: we cover over fifty of the most common breeds, including over seventy congenital defects. Cat genetics: we support over thirty five of the most common breeds, including over thirty congenital defects for which the mode of inheritance is known.
