Advanced Database Features
Breeders Assistant provides many tools for maintaining your database:
Database Inconsistency Detection - this lets you check your database for things like females used as sire, self-parenting error (ancestor circularities), inconsistent genotypes between parents and offspring, etc.
Search & Replace - replace text in a field in all records of a given type e.g. all animals.
Field Transfer - move or copy one field to another for all records of a given type.
Case Conversion - change the case of a field for all records of a given type. E.g. so that animal names are in consistent case (e.g. Title Case) after importing.
Database Repair facility - for the detection and removal of database corruption errors. This is the BA equivalent to using the Windows facility to check your disk for errors.
