Breeders Assistant can print registration forms using its PDF print-merge facility. This lets you use genuine registration forms from issuing authorities and print them in a single pass through Breeders Assistant - you feed in blank paper and BA prints the PDF file complete with data inserted from the database.

The following forms are supported:
CATS:
 FIFe/CA Registration Form
 CFA Litter Application Form
 TICA Litter Registration Form
 TICA Single Registration Form
DOGS:
 AKC Litter Registration Form
 CKC Litter Registration Form
 UK Kennel Club Litter Registration Form
 UKC Litter Registration Form
 UKC Single Registration Form

Many of these PDF forms are included with the product - many thanks to those registries that have permitted us to distribute them*. If you need to use a standard form thats not listed, you can still handle this but you'll need to set up BA to insert the necessary fields at the relevant locations. This is quite straightforward and in many cases we can help you with this - contact us.

Filling out such a form in BA is straightforward:
 For litter registration forms, fill out a mating record and then enter the litter details - name, gender etc. for each of the offspring. BA even includes an option to exclude specific offspring from the registration document.
 For a single registration form you just need to fill out the animal's details in the usual way - by entering an animal record.
 Click the Display button, select Registration Form and then choose the form you want to use.
 Click the Print button.
 If the form includes fields for which there is no equivalent in BA, you're then prompted to fill these in if you wish.
 The form is then printed, completely filled in.

* BA understands the layouts of the current versions of all the forms listed above. If your registration form is not one of the standard ones we include, you can often just download it yourself from the relevant registry/authority web site then directly print it from BA. We currently include the PDF files for all forms listed above except those from AKC, CKC and UK Kennel Club; for those you should download the PDF files from the registry websites.
