Sample Page - Pedigree With Inbreeding% Highlighting
This shows a pedigree with the inbreeding coefficient of each ancestor highlighted by shading the ancestor cell background according to the value of the coefficient. We call this 'heat coding' because it uses a shade of red starting from very light right though to intense red for a highly inbred individual.
Notice the legend that is displayed beneath the pedigree - this shows the coding for each colour used.
