This video explains in detail the three methods of ranking prospective matings with the Extended Edition - ranking by minimizing inbreeding in the resultant offspring, ranking according to the influence (kinship) of specific individuals (both positively and negatively), and ranking according to other gene diversity metrics including ranking to minimize mean kinship and by the genome uniqueness of the parents.
This is a long video - 30+ minutes. If you're interested in all 3 mate ranking techniques then this is the one to watch.
But if you're only interested in one of the 3 methods, there are separate smaller videos you might prefer - see ranking by inbreeding , ranking by influence and ranking by gene diversity metrics including mean kinship
There is also a separate video which you are recommended to watch first that explains about the test data and how to set up a breeding pool.
